I met Tony Harris around 7 years ago, I came across his incredible food and hotel interior photography website. I was blown away by the quality and richness he captures with his professional eye in each and every photography masterpiece. Since then I have commissioned Tony for quite a few photography shoot projects.
Tony has also been very generous in providing me with some great tips in furthering my photography interests. Many of the sugar flower arrangement photographs displayed on my website are Tony’s ingenious work, some are my own pictures.
Tony very kindly invited me to become the subject of a photoshoot for his website Blog. I hastily said yes please, as working with Tony is always very interesting and fantastic fun.
It’s an honor to call him a very dear friend, Many thanks, Tony Harris.
Tony Harris is our lead photographer at TonyHphoto and has over 30 years of experience providing commercial photography to the London hospitality industry. He specialises in food photography and hotel photography including interiors and portraits. Tony’s positivity and strong work ethic make him popular among his clients and a pleasure to work with. His ability to take on a brief, assess the purpose of the images he is producing and work with minimal supervision means he is exactly what busy marketing teams need. Whether he’s in his studio or out on location Tony is professional and passionate about creating high-quality images that tell a brands’ story in a unique and creative way.
For over 30 years we have been supplying the London hospitality industry with high-quality images that resonate with the right people. Working with independent cafés to large hotel groups we pride ourselves on being able to deliver effective hotel and food photography that follows brand guidelines and tells a company’s story beautifully. We specialise in food photography, interior and hotel photography and portraiture. This means only needing to hire one photographer if you own a hotel or restaurant and want to capture your business as a whole.
Our technical and lighting knowledge, creativity and ability to follow current trends allow us to produce images that encapsulate a company’s ethos and that strike a chord with their clientele.
We have worked on shoots with strict briefs and guidelines, and, have worked with business owners who have relied on our creative direction and expertise to produce work with very little input from them. Working with such a large range of clients and individuals means we have a lot of experience with different ways of working which enables us to better understand our clients’ needs.
Our passion for food and hotel photography derives from our love of visual story telling. We are creative at heart but relish the challenges that commercial photography presents and thrive in environments that encourage out-of-the-box thinking and creative problem solving. Commercial photography depends on a finely tuned combination of craftsmanship, organisation and creative flair.
Our years of experience have taught us how to manage our creativity efficiently and how to plan and organise a well-thought-out shoot.
The success of a photoshoot relies on everyone involved and for us the most important aspect to commercial photography is working well with people. A team of creative minds can quickly become a disorganised nightmare, which does not bode well when it comes to tight campaign deadlines. We use our knowledge and expertise to help clients make important decisions, to make sure a shoot runs as smoothly as possible and to ensure the images produced are of a high standard and do the job they need to.
Our lead photographer Tony Harris has worked with a large number of businesses, individuals and marketing agencies throughout his career and understands each has their own style, USP and voice. Tony knows echoing that style in his imagery is paramount. He works closely with the team whether it is chefs, bar tenders, house keeping or business owners to make sure everyone is happy with the end product and proud to say they were part of the production.
With Tony’s ability to capture the true essence of a brand and the post-production team’s attention to detail and efficiency we are able to produce original, engaging imagery even when given a limited timescale.
With over 30 years of photographic experience we have come across every lighting set up, styling complication and shoot logistics issue there can be when it comes to London photography. We understand the hard work and commitment required to produce a successful marketing campaign and aim to take any stress around photography off of our clients’ minds. With so much experience shooting for the London hospitality industry we know what works and what doesn’t which means we can offer helpful advise to first-time marketers and be relied upon to deliver images on time and to a high standard.
The overall aim at TonyHphoto is to deliver high quality, compelling images to the London hospitality market that will initiate engagement and boost revenue.
